Let's play "count the things this police officer shouldn't have done/said, but it was really nice of him to do/say!"

(hint: Everything.)

This was what I would call a Hagrid: "I Shouldn't have said that" Scene.

"Or that... or that... or that or that or that... or given him that... or left him unattended so that..."

Oops. I shouldn't have said that.

Wouldn't money count as "paper" as well (or is it all metal in this world?)

Yup! Any money that was in the shop is all gone. Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately) that little pouch landed outside.

But unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) the contents are not money. ;)

I really like this scene. I really felt the emotion in Loup's expressions and this does give a good job in establishing how he's lost everything. Works in making you feel bad for the character.

A treaty that allows the fairies to apparently run roughshod over the rights of not!England's citizens? The last war must have been a total curb stomp.

But I mean, the fairies can fly and are the only people we've seen use gunpowder weapons thusfar, so that's hardly surprising really.

Yeah, the humans and faeries definitely have an odd relationship! And the humans are totally not!England. XD
